Hi, I’m Victoria. With over 20 years of experience in the hairdressing industry and over 12 years successfully running a thriving freelance mobile hairdressing business, I've become the go-to mentor for hair professionals looking to take their business to the next level.

I started my own business after a year of travelling the world, driven by a desire for more than the typical 20 days of holiday and 4 Saturdays off a year. I wanted control—over my earnings, my time off, my hours, and my clients. But it wasn’t easy. The early days were a real struggle, and I often wished there was someone I could turn to for advice and support.

Through determination, focus, and an unwavering passion for my craft, I’ve overcome countless challenges and built my business into what it is today.

My Journey

My journey in the world of hair began long before then, as a Saturday assistant in a local salon at the age of 13. Those formative years ignited my passion for hairdressing and provided me with invaluable insights into both the craft and life itself. Following my formal training and a rewarding seven-and-a-half-year tenure at a prestigious salon in Marlow, I set off on my adventure around the world, chronicling my experiences as The Travelling Hairdresser.

Today, I'm a single thirty-something woman residing in a quaint village just outside Marlow, Buckinghamshire, accompanied by my charming black Labrador, Jackson. Together, we relish our time outdoors, whether it's exploring the picturesque countryside or soaking up the sun on sandy shores. Staying active and embracing new experiences are at the core of my lifestyle, guiding me as I continue to learn, grow, and embark on extraordinary adventures.

Professional Hair @ Home was born out of a desire to blend salon-quality services with the convenience and comfort of your own space.
